Left military service in 2008. Gained nearly 30 lbs until 2015.

Currently I weigh 10x more than when I separated.

But I am actually stronger now.
2 pant sizes smaller.
1 shirt size smaller.
I sleep like a champ.
Just don't ask me to run more than 100 yards! I have lungs but my feet hate that now.

2 nights in a row 👈 this sleep coach struggled, waking up 3 hours in.
Discovered the dry air+cold temps outside were dehydrating me.
I increased room humidity, drank warm tea an hr before bed, and Xtra hydration all day.
Now I'm back on schedule. Lesson learned? Read the comment below 👇

If you NEED alcohol to pass out, If you NEED caffeine to function, but feel "fine" with just 4 hours sleep, it's not restorative sleep.

"Doing better" in 2025 doesn't mean 1 to 100% better in one day.
It's 1 to 2 one day, 2 to 3 the next, and so forth.

And maybe 39 goes to 37, then 35, but back to 39, then 42 then 45.

When you look back 12 months later, you'll see that you've done better because you didn't quit.
