About the reintroduction of wolves in Europe. Made me cry multiple times. Empathetic to all sides while not straying from the truth that we are on the verge of ecological collapse and wolves can help prevent that. I wish there had been some Native thoughts on wolves.

No tip to find real DJ mixes and expand from there.
Just, like, look at playlists from real people and Shazam songs you like when you hear them (like, duh????? Shazaming a Chainsmokers remix of Sway in 2014 is basically why I’m here.)

Queer modern fairy tale with a female knight, female king, and dragons. I thought it was the weakest of the modern fairy tales I read (prose not as lush, story more predictable), but still enjoyable. What’s not to like about ladies + dragons?

The cat is named Maxwell. Our other cat is named Mathis but he’s not here to celebrate right now.

A short, new fairytale that balances the simplicity and moral heft of the genre well. It’s engaging and relevant, familiar and barrier-breaking. Highly recommend! Get on the fantasy novella train!

Read for obvious reasons. A DJ book! Well-written! Evocative! Funny! Full of disturbingly problematic personalities! From the dude who made “Uptown Funk”! What’s not to like?

Read the OG and not Revisited because that’s what I had available at the library. Very ‘80s. I can see why most if what it says works but also I couldn’t help but think it was all comically evil.

Decorated with holly branches on top, nasturtiums, sage, and basil on the sides, and a wooden leaf garland.

Have had solar panels for a little less than 3 years! And an electric car for about the same amount of time. No regrets.

I really liked it but that’s because I’m already convinced of its arguments against lawns and for more native plants. I learned some useful tidbits and factoids too. But overall I think it’s unlikely to sway skeptics.

A reread. It was not quite as delightful as the first time I read it, but still so, so good. Funny, insightful, inclusive, heartwarming. What more could you want?
