The first time I went into the overworld I just stood there for like 20 seconds because I thought it was a cutscene... It's just so good looking.

I am genuinely shocked by how good this game is. It's visually beautiful, the sound track is fantastic, the gameplay is top notch... I have some minor complaints but who cares. Every time I enter a new area I feel like a tourist taking screenshots of every set piece. AAAAAAAAA

I'm cautiously optimistic tbh, the battle system looks fun. Champions has me much more excited!

The Irassians are a pretty good precursor, actually. Sure, they're no Cybrex, but I've had some great games with the irassian naval yards where I just spam corvettes or nanite swarmers out and nothing short of an awakened empire fleet can stand up to the sheer numbers.

Decided to try a starburst galaxy. I spawned literally at the very end of one of the arms. My neighbors? an advanced start fanatic purifier and the xenophobic fallen empire.
