A couple weeks ago we took advantage of the new 222 bus route to get to the Tolt Pipeline trail, then walked to Kingsgate to catch the 535 to Lynnwood, then Link back to Seattle. Lots of cool wildlife and great fall colors!

So many cars that I need a second post. Maybe it's time to extend the barriers on Brooklyn all the way to 45th @seattledot.bsky.social?

"I'll only be here a minute" says the first of five drivers to block a single bike lane in three minutes. #carsinbikelanes

Often reporting drivers for parking illegally in a bike lane is like shooting fish in a barrel. One does it, then another sees that it "must be OK" or "I'll only be here for a minute (aka hour) like the first one" ... Hopefully is easy picking for parking enforcement #carsinbikelanes

Inspired by our outing with @transittrekker.bsky.social last week, I finally got around to biking the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. It was a great way to celebrate the penultimate weekend of Trailhead Direct!

It's been two months since SDOT and WSDOT made the bus lanes on Aurora 24x7. How is it that on-time adherence for the RapidRide E - the busiest bus route in the state - is *worse* than before? Hopefully this is @seattledot.bsky.social's and @wsdot.wa.gov's top priority right now. #transit

After 19 years, I've finally visited every @spl.org library branch. New Holly made a great excuse for a bike ride in our lovely weather this weekend. Still working on @kcls.org and @snoislelibraries.bsky.social, obviously geography is more of a but it will happen eventually. #libraries #cycling

Sometimes Seattle can't even manage a paint-only uphill bike lane. #visionzero

It's on the Seattle 911 feed at least. Some kind of electrical response, confirmed with the SCL outage map www.seattle.gov/city-light/o...

There might also be anomalies with the data, or maybe changes in the on-time metric, or routes like the A have been extremely disrupted by something all of a sudden.

Taco Chicken, Bothell, WA, No Kings protest. Despite being a city of 48k, I estimate a couple thousand folks turned out. Maybe there is hope after all. #nokings

The Ballard Bridge in Seattle was open to humans today. It's amazing how big it feels without cars. Surely there's enough room for bike lanes? #PeopleStreets #CompleteStreets #connection #transportation

We're really thankful to live in a region that values providing people without cars or who can't drive the ability to get out into nature. Just got back from our first Trailhead Direct hike of the season across Squak Mountain! #CarFree #OutdoorRecreation

Link 2 Line got one step closer to completion, with unpowered testing across the I90 floating bridge!

Thank goodness I don't use a wheelchair since Metro doesn't even bother listing alternatives for all the routes on the notice. What's even more unclear is the nature of the problem, since these are platforms dedicated to transit.

There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly painted bike lanes (N 130th, Seattle)

PSA for delivery companies: When your drivers block a bike lane with your branded van, the advertising on the back might actually make me not want to buy anything from you.
