Ended up getting burnt out a bit on reviews, thought it was a slump at first but no I guess it was just burn out 😅

Got 1 new review written up though on a fun book, and I just finished up another that was quite fun to read :3 Might be writing shorter/less structured reviews for a bit though

I didn't read the description, I requested the ARC just based on the fact that I loved Aces Wild so I had no idea what to expect. But my god this will be an incredible read, I know it!

So, I finished Heavenly Tyrant a couple days ago and I'm still feeling pretty annoyed at it.

Am I the only one who thinks it felt like an entirely different book? Is there any word on what the romance will be in #3? I'm really hoping it's not gonna follow the same tropes as other romantasy books

Cesar hides a fair amount of shame behind jokes and his "gifted" reputation, but when a manic episode makes his inner turmoil impossible to hide, he is faced with a stark choice: burn every bridge he has left, or worse—ask for help. Carolina Mancheno Ortiz will edit for publication in fall 2025; Alexandra Levick at Writers House did the deal for North American rights.

TLDR; Absolutely no genAI at all. Mobile app is coming. Stats is being worked on. Accounts are hard to manage so just google auth for now (very valid ngl)
