I’m sitting and working on my computer at Dallas/Fort Worth airport. A stranger gets up to go, but taps the @transpainter.bsky.social sticker on my laptop and says, “I’m an ally, and you are loved, too,” before walking away.

There is still so much good in this world. Let’s keep fighting for it. 🧡

And yes, I did just make a slide to introduce it to my students this week. I used my favorite options from searching for High, Low, and Buffalo on emojiton.com, but swapped in the Bison, mostly because I know it will prompt heated discussion. 😆

My students found a woolly bear caterpillar in the classroom this morning and immediately brought it to me because they know I love these lil’ guys. They named it Sad Bob, which is kinda-sorta made up of my students’ initials. ALL GLORY TO SAD BOB! 🐛
