There’s some swelling around the incisions that I hope will go away soon.
For the rest I’m feeling much better, practically back to normal, just can’t reach above my head :)

Last couple of days were harder. The binder hurt my back a lot and it was hard asking for help with so many things! Couldn’t open the fridge or dress myself and was very tired.
Today was a lot better! It’s healing well so far and I’m starting to get used to the binder :)

My drains were removed and I’m now home. Got to stay for 1 night which was quite nice.
A little short of breath because of how tight the binder is, but the pain is very doable

They already let me look for a second!!
It looked good. Like it made sense. This was my body. Nipple placement did not make me disappointed when I saw it but I did immediately forget where they were lol.
So cool!!
So glad my surgeon immediately showed me, less anxiety for sure!

5 more days, time has gone by so quick. I officially can’t follow this semester at uni due to some group projects they won’t let me join online, which is fair enough, still disappointed tho.
What will I do tho, no uni no work no sports!

If you’re cis & you want trans folks to know they’re valid and cared for, here’s a tip: Don’t say it to a trans person. Go talk to a cis person.
Talk to your dad. Your coworker. Your friends. Ask if they know whats going on. Ask if they have uncertainties when it comes to the ~trans issue.~

I keep getting the tip here to get ice packs for top surgery.
No! It stops the swelling bc it reduces blood flow, which you don’t want when you want to heal.
My surgeon also warned me about this.
Stop dm’ing me to get enough ice packs!

Insurance will cover most to maybe even all of my top surgery costs, which I’m very grateful for!

It was tops a 10 minute conversation. I’ll be given a date for the surgery within the next 3 weeks. It should be around the first week of February!
