Just thought I should bring this to the attention of @linkara.bsky.social in case he wasn’t aware that this is something that really exists!!!

I’m really in awe of how The NY Times portrays the dynamics between sovereign countries and their interactions with a leader upending decades of foreign policy. It reminds me of my childhood where I would always try to distract my bullies by telling them they had pretty eyes. It did not go well. 🙄

This was an article by Andrew E Kramer on The NY Times this morning (to be fair, I have no idea whether they wrote this heading or subhead). What is the point of an article like this? American policy has dramatically shifted, but Zelensky needs to think about how HIS actions are hurting Ukraine?
