You are perfectly right and that's one of the biggest gripe I have towards them... The complete lack of competition lets them get away with literally anything. 🥲

Yes, the driving in this game is less technical than Wipeout and plays differently in general, but I agree! The frontrunning opponents in particular don’t hold back much even at the lowest speed class.
