Though dragons are stereotypically seen as the dominating predators of Tyrselon, the mangroves to the far south are often far too dense in tree cover for them to enter. Thus, two large reptiles take up the spot as top order carnivores.

The Masidrupar, a reptile of massive proportions that roam the southern half of Tyrselon in fairly large number. These animals have no natural predators in the south once they reach adult size.

Red Wyverns are the oldest breed of domestic dragon in existence, and closest resemble the wild ancestors of all domestic dragons. These dragons are firespitters, and untrained individuals are known to liberally coat what they consider their territory in scorch marks.

Instead of fire, like their smaller and often hunted cousins, highland thorncrowns have a powerful venom adapted for paralyzing the flight muscles of other dragon species. This is usually accomplished via tree-to-ground ambush, where the dragon can use its wings to help pin down struggling prey.

The highlands thorncrown, a truly impressive creature even by dragoneer standards. Being the largest of the thorncrown family, these mountain dwelling spirits of the fog are the only non-fire spitting member of their family. This puts them alongside other great regicidal species.

Finchleer, or sometimes called whooping birds for their shrill cries, are some of the speediest herbivores to exist on the continent of Tyrselon. These reptiles thrive in woodland edge, primarily eating nuts, seeds, and pitted fruits such as peaches. Living in social groups of 10-25 individuals-

Green wyverns have been bred for one thing; flight. Being among the fastest dragons in the air, greens are the best choice if you need to get somewhere faster than any horse or ship could take you. These dragons are also highly effective hunting mounts.

“Stenitorn,” or sometimes called Speckled Morningstar, is a fully terrestrial dragon that makes its home on the open plains and prairies. Usually specializing in small ungulates, these dragons are especially a menace to shepards due to their willingness to take livestock even in broad daylight.

Tabbied thorncrowns are the tallest dragons in the thorncrown family, and are one of the rarer species one can encounter on the continent of Tyrselon. Being primarily carrion eaters, these dragons use their imposing height to scorch carcasses that they wish to challenge for (1/2)

Sauropods in the trident isles are followed by mass swarms of flying animals. Insects, birds, bats, & pterosaurs all form a living, breathing ecosystem around these giants.

The eastern lorodo is a predatory ceratopsid that dwells on the far eastern coast of the Sphyran continent. These stocky predators are specialized to bring down large iguanadonts and mammals that stray too close to the thick brush of the bamboo forests.
