This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

the Signal fiasco is a good reminder that while these people are destructive, and cruel, and bigoted, and petty

they are also really, really stupid

First they came for your due process rights, and you said nothing for you had not committed a crime.

Then they came for your right to privacy, and you said nothing for you had nothing to hide.

Then they came for your free speech rights, and you said nothing.
