OMG! This was the first post I've ever gotten that showed up labeled RUDE. The funny thing, Infinite Pest's post (with no swears) was labeled RUDE and @gravelinfluencer.bsky.social 's post, which has the swears, was not! What a weird algorithm.

I walked by there just a couple weeks ago when I was in town. All the buildings on the west side of that side street have been torn down and this very large condo complex is being built. (Apparently, it was a big vacant lot for quite some time.) Her building is still there though!

I’m having a 50 year old brain flash to something called “goose grease” and I can’t pinpoint to exactly what or why. (But like as an emollient - not a food product.) (See also “bag balm” - which I think was what my grandparents used on cow udders but we also used on our dry (human) skin.
