Given the power dynamics at play, I would never proactively involve the police. Most cops aren't gonna take it seriously, and worse, may use a victim's vulnerable, flustered state against them. I might alert an organizer or a street medic to the situation if the victim wanted to do so.

Safe bystander intervention looks different for everyone. I'm small and femme and have a bubbly voice so I would greet the victim as if they're an old friend, find a pretext to get them away from the creep, and when we're safe, ask them how to support them.

Did your kit come with a needle threader tool? If not, it might be helpful. I've got essential tremor which makes threading needles impossible. A needle threader makes a HUGE difference for me! I don't like the little flat ones, but there are chunkier ones with seam rippers built in that work great.

It looks awesome. Not digging Stuck in the Middle with You as a song choice (blame Resevoir Dogs for ruining that song in every other context). But we get awkward Murderbot who doesn't want to be perceived, and a quick but hilarious snippet of Sanctuary Moon in between all the action. I'm excited.

Oh I am so thrilled this org is still kicking. Raging grannies were an incredible source of inspiration for me when I was a baby activist in the early 00s.

Some people get so mad when they are reminded that covid still exists. It's probably a trauma response - may I suggest that if seeing people in masks makes you uncomfy, you might want to seek therapy instead of writing mean articles.
