Last night, I attended a night photography workshop in Utrecht. It was drizzling, so there was a lot of lens cleaning to do (not enough 🫣). But it was fun to go out with a group of photographers.

So, I will bright up your timeline with some dark pictures. 😊

This year, instead of making a Thanksgiving dinner at home, we went to the Salvation Army, to serve a meal to families staying at the shelter.

Besides our family, there was a couple there, who seemed very nice. Guy and his wife, around 40, I’d guess.

Waiting to clean up after dinner, the guy […]

[Turkey]

I’m sad that I didn’t know one of my fave Chinese bbq places (Chef Li’s Cafe HK BBQ) was doing a whole roast turkey, roast duck style, I think I would have very much liked that take on turkey

Thanksgiving will always be associated with Mila. We got her right before our very first Thanksgiving when we first got here. Every Thanksgiving that she’s still with us (she was 11 / 12 when we got her; it’s been 7 years), is a surprise.
