Yeah I never really understood that. I think the simplest way I've found has been just observing how much of amputee stuff is about making privileged people feel comfortable.

I don't have any current data outside of an article and interview but it's kinda tragic. I can look articles up later.

If you're concerned about bias what I've read of Ground.news is trying to mitigate bias. With most of the international news there will likely be news about Israel, Netanyahu, and that conflict/mass murder.

unicornriot.ninja has some articles as does apnews.com but primarily on major cities like Chicago, Portland, DC, etc

I would expect that aljazeera or other international papers would have some coverage.

appears to let you search to see where they are (if they are). I think ice.gov/statistics might have some broader info. This is all assuming things are accurately described by ICE. So I would treat it like self-reported health studies.
