I don't get why the Sorenson isn't playing Allan. Are they trying to get Brodie on track to trade him? WIll be interesting to see if this continues after the trade deadline.

Heard Jay talking about throwing $15 million at John Cooper and signing FA to a massive deal. Say $30 mil total for 2 people. With the CHSN debacle and declining attendance, do the Hawks have the actual money to do that? Going to be a few years before the team is respectable with no CHSN.

Well said. Not to sound cliched but I truly believe everything happens for a reason and this is just the start of bigger and better things for you. It just won't feel like that now. Loved listening to your passion and level headed analysis of the Hawks and will miss it greatly.

How are they bidding against themselves? They are trading a #1 prospect (a good one) for a proven center, which this team sorely lacks. And plenty of top ten picks have been traded. It's time to start building a roster, we have plenty of prospects coming up.

Would you trade a #1 pick (and other assets) for Nico Hischier or Nick Suzuki? Both are two years older on similar contracts. KD isn't going to get fired for making that trade. With all of the prospects that are coming up, we need some proven commodities. We need an established, big center.
