Hearing former #mnwild assistant GM Chris O'Hearn has been hired as VP of hockey operations with the #blackhawks to work with GM Kyle Davidson and his front office.
Really happy to see O'Hearn back in the NHL. An attorney, O'Hearn's expertise is contract negotiations and CBA.

@mariotirabassi.bsky.social With Bert and Teuvo signed for multiple years and one more year of Dickie and Fliggy, we have all the vets we need. We need to get the young guys progressing and that will start with the new veteran coach and change the culture. Time to let the young guns fly.

@mariotirabassi.bsky.social Just listened to the post Winter Classic podcast and KD seat being warm. I think a new coach after the season is the biggest need. KD needs to start signing FAs that play the style the coach wants. Bring in a vet coach and unless you get Marner/Raton, let Rockford play.

@mariobrothblog.bsky.social Just watched the Kraken game. This looks like a completely different team under Sorenson. They are fast, physical and much more structured. Yes, they have their lapses but that first period was the best they've played all year. So much fun to watch now!
