Senate needs to stand up for FBI agents and AUSAs. Trump is throwing these patriotic public servants under the bus to promote a false narrative about Jan 6 rioters.
The FBI is full of tough minded, hard charging, patriotic people—mostly Republicans—who have devoted years of their lives serving the country and placing mission over money. Many there now feel unfairly targeted by political operatives for doing things they were assigned to do. They are furious.

These are values taught to the children of my generation in schools, at the kitchen table and in churches. Painting them over does not erase our responsibility to continue to demonstrate these values and teach them to the next generation. All Americans are called to uphold these values.
