Long Covid has annihilated me. Disabled musician. Created tech behind transit data companies Swiftly and NextBus. Person behind robotaxi.news & helpBluesky.me . Co-founder of Walk SF. The War on Cars will be won by @safeStreetRebel !
But their website is so awesome. Check out these renderings. Truly sunrise in America!

And one of their goals is “Elon-level ambition is the bar”

Umm, maybe should just let the idiots try it. I don’t think they know that it’s crappy landfill that floods during king tides. I don’t think data centers work that well when all soggy.

Hi #longCovid folks, have r posted in a while. But today I had quite a procedure. A dual Stellate Ganglion Block plus a dual Thoracic block. The SGB is my 4th and is for
My cognitive issues. It increases blood flow to brain, which is why the right side of my head was much warmer after right side.

Some personal #LongCovid good news/bad news: I am now officially disabled with respect to *any* gainful employment. The good part is that I am incredible fortunate in that my company’s disability policy will continue paying me. Bad news is that my body is a wreck.

This nice pic of Leon has already had quite an effect on the Orange Menace. Someone is quite ticked off for being viewed as a putz.

World premier of the latest John Adams piano concerto “After the fall”, performed by Víkingur Ólafsson. Fantastic, as expected. Review at datebook.sfchronicle.com/classical/jo...

200 musicians. Epic Orff “banger” symphony piece. Today I spent all day resting on the couch.

Congestion pricing started in NYC and all the drivers were so freaked out they didn’t drive there. Traffic was extremely light today compared to Sunday average.

Life with #LongCovid. I had a whole week where I felt good enough to go outside. But today I’m flat on my back and the cats insist I stay lying down.

Xmas cheer from friend’s chilly open air studio (those aren’t windows!) from 3 years ago before I had #longCovis.

Music written by Joel Beving. Nord Grand piano set to some very non-piano settings.

Everybody but this guy should stay away from the California coast. In case you are wondering, this was Mavericks, yesterday.

Note: here is a pic showing how the wet concrete was clearly marked with orange pylons. The tire tracks show where it squeezed through. The Waymo “driver” clearly thought it was entitled.

Well, this quite a damning report on Matt Gaetz. Just read this small section.

My sibling sent me a pic from way before there were digital cameras. Mime Troupe in Dolores Park in the 90s!

And I got the denial letter after dragging myself to an appointment at the UCSF #LongCovid research center where I’m a Guinea pig for clinical trials. I do this because there is of course no treatment, zero, nada, zilch, for my disabling affliction. 🧵

Achieved another #LongCovid milestone. I was DENIED from Social Security Disability benefits. Somehow they think I could actually work. And all why I am exhausted and lying on the couch, as typical. And even posting a message takes quite a while due to my brain being broken. 🧵

I just don’t understand why people haven’t been noting that the profile banner for the account contains this image. That’s some serious involvement with the medical industry.

As I’m sure you’ve heard, they have arrested Luigi Mangione for NYC shooting of the healthcare exec. I’m surprised the news hasn’t mentioned this part of one his profile pics. Creepy to me that my lower back is demolished as well. I can imagine that this injury required large amount of health care.

Small victory in the #longCovid battle: I got my library card so I can access online resources!

Oddly, it was quite the ordeal. Rules are that you have to go in person to get card, or you have to have your doctor fill out the library’s form stating you are *permanently* disabled. 1/ 🧵
