Messing around with the Tech Audio Tools plugin in #UnrealEngine 5.6 -- not quite ready to save presets here since binding a SpinBox doesn't seem to be as straightforward, but hey it's making noises...

Playing with some of the experimental features in #MetaSounds through the #UnrealEngine 5.6 preview.

First instinct was to add an option for stereo filters as configurable nodes...picture this as a job for CAT down the line though(?)

Built-in audio modulated delay is my new go-to noisemaker :)

Fascinating how much this idea exposes the limits of the system. Timing a key issue obvs- thinking of Quartz-style handles.

I have a lot of thoughts on this more generally though + prob need to write them down. V interested in your take.

Embedding MIDI information in a .wav file as a way to test a custom "String To Array" node for #UnrealEngine #MetaSounds.

Labelled some markers with MIDI pitch and velocity in Reaper, exported as cues in the wave asset. String To Array enables breaking this info out into int32s to map as needed.

Got the rhythmic bit I wanted to try working!

Going to take some more work to get the repetition in place but at least the subsequences are parsing ok. I like the idea of sequencing like this, but guess timing is off with the deferred variables.

Clock within a node like this makes sense...
