Don't have the time to break this into a thread, but thank you so much for calling this out. It's not easy when you're whole life has (shamefully) been about keeping yourself and the people around you from ever experiencing discomfort, but it's also the way out of this

To me this is the perfect tech bro pitch. Correctly identify a shortcoming in the market but then rather than correcting the underlying issue, just put out an alternate product that makes them the middleman, potentially while circumventing regulations designed for the original middlemen
