Michigander Gal. Nature is my happy place. Lover of cats with a fondness for tuxedos. Memorizer of song lyrics. Skeleton observer.
we adopted a rescue cat, who’d been in a facility for most of his life. He’d never seen a TV. after he became ours, we watched this movie. The monkey grabbing the stick & fighting after was like a “holy shite” reaction from him. He kept looking back & forth at the TV & us, like is this normal?

How beautiful you both are! This especially makes me smile as on my 50th, mom, my oldest son, & I made a trip to New York to do some genealogy research and Made a stop at the circus that is the American side of Niagara Falls. A trip with mom is great way to start your 50s. Happy for you!

In 1988, I went the North American Music Merchants show in Chicago at the McCormick Place. Eddie Van Halen was there, signing autographs. I had a VH friend & asked for one for her. He winked at me at said, she’d have to get in line. You could smell the alcohol coming off him; Cute smile & all

The tip of the Mitt is prime Trump country, and I would wager a guess you’re 100 percent right.

I pay for two subscriptions: the Atlantic and my home town newspaper. I understand the need to support journalism but I hear exactly what you’re saying.

Finally! Good to see an article about the damage from the ice storm in counties up in the tip of the Mitt. Devastating and some are still without power days later.

RSV & influenza are high at stepdad’s nursing home the last couple of weeks & I’ve been masking up when I visit him. Yes, wearing it sucks but it’s a necessary evil. Thank you for masking up. Those who shun masking should be on a list for maskless surgeons should they ever require surgery

Caught up with my oldest bestie this week. We’ve been friends since we were 12; now we’re 60. We can go weeks or months without talking, and pick right back up with each other where we left off at. We talked for hours. Blessed to have her as my friend.
