From a walk last week. Snow doesn’t kill my walking vibe but extreme cold does, even when I’m bundled up to the max. Looking forward to “warmer” winter this weekend for a walk with the darling grandgirl.

My idea of decorating for Christmas. Trees are beautiful and nostalgic. I’m older now, however, and at this phase of my life, I’m more into the simple and easy. Makes for a much more relaxing holiday in what typical is a stressful season

Sunflowers are the best and the bees are a bonus. My grandfather was a beekeeper and he had an outbuilding on his property where he processed honey. As kids, my cousins and I were fascinated at the process. Pic taken a couple of years ago at a sunflower festival

I’m blessed to live by several nature preserves, parks, and trails and I frequent them often. Tried a new trail place today and found this nice place to take a rest. Pretty hilly place. I’ll be back to explore more

In 2010, hubby & I became empty nesters and decided to explore Michigan ORV trails. He rode in his country youth; me, never as I was a city gal. It was a perfect adventure fit for us. We started out on these, moved on to quads, and then SxSs. Trail riding made for great Skelly pic taking.

Back in 2009, I started taking skeleton pictures in various places: locally, vacation, sometimes my own backyard. Started off as a FB profile thing for Halloween and kind of took off from there. I still take them but at and few in between nowadays. It was a lot of fun though…..for sure
