Saturday night goofing with my granddaughter. I usually don’t post her on public social media but since she’s has mask-like makeup on I thought I’d share. She’s proud of her ideas - we did one other one but I haven’t edited it yet.

My cat has been a menace since she came back from the kennel a few weeks ago. She’s been going into containers to pull out cat treats on her own, sassing my dog & making bread on the back of my head if I sit on the couch.
She stole a napkin out of my lunch box … tell

And this is the most recent larger thing I’ve done. I painted it a few months ago. My granddaughter named it “The Moona Lisa”

Some of my digital pattern design sets
A screenshot of some of the pattern surface designs I’ve been working on. There’s a periodic table/science set with the main “hero” design in Periodic table form using the atomic symbols to spell out “Be Kind” and then repeat patterns with they chemical makeup symbols, chemistry glass, and scattered periodic table symbols. Then a set of Pan Dulce designs including conchas, cuernos , polvorone trebol, and Galletas de Grageas surrounded by SORT OF traditional Mexican embroidery style florals. And last in the pic is a set of Solstice images- a bowl of oranges decorated with cloves, filled with Bayleaves that have “abundance, prosperity” etc on them with red candles in the background. The repeat patterns have orange slices on cranberry garlands and Bayleaves.

The last two of mine are just practice and copies of someone else’s paintings so they’re not listed on my eBay, but the others are. Included my granddaughter’s paintings.

I’ve been trying to fit in creative time because I’ve been overwhelmed over the past 12 months. I have very little free time, so I’ve been trying to fit in creative stuff I can do with my granddaughter. Yesterday we started making ACEOs. It’s been fun!

I got a TB test yesterday, so that I can go on field trips with my granddaughter.
Does that look normal?
Are there usually red lines coming out of it? I haven’t had a TB test in maybe 20 yrs. I can’t find anything similar on the internet.

These taste like what I imagine burnt paper tastes like. But less flavor.
I don’t know what I thought they’d taste like and I deeply regret the experience.

We recapped Andor yesterday before starting season 3 and I want to thank whoever is responsible for throwing in this JWST tribute because now my granddaughter also thinks I built the Death Star.

So I’ve had to start crating her again. Mind you she has broken all of her Canine teeth trying to escape.
I feel bad crating her. She tears up anything in the crate with her so I thought a water bottle on the outside would be good - I was wrong.
She knocked it out AND managed to unscrew the valve.

Recently I’d been leaving my dog out of the crate while I’m gone. A few weeks ago she tore up a jacket that was hanging on the back of the door rack. A few days ago she tried to open the front door. She already knows how to open lever doors but this time she tried to open a locked knob.

She has separation anxiety to the max and has been breaking out of places to find me, including a service dog training place, since I got her.

My granddaughter was looking at photos of the baby shower I threw for her mom and she showed me this picture and asked how old I was. I said 48 and she said “It’s weird because you were young and old at the same time.”

Having a horror movie night with my Granddaughter, and I walk into the kitchen to see this.
Anyways… I swear she’s not threatening me, she likes me.
A monthly calendar dry erase board that a 7 year old has written: “I love you Nana I kile you.” At first glance it looks like she wrote “I Kill you” but it’s just like with the K & L switched around. Not relevant, but for details, down the side is a star-bulleted list of chores and along the top in the first week squares someone has given themselves loads of un-earned stars.

Homemade pizza night with my kiddo!
It smells divine in here.
