This doesn't seem too outrageous to me considering they used to alternate the British GP between Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Just think of the gaps as those random years when Spa came off the schedule or when it gave us a 1-lap race. #F1

Some sims with 4DOF (degrees of freedom) I feel the car physics moving in incredible ways, while in some 6DOF titles, I can't, or have to train my brain.

You hear a lot about Adrian Fernandez’s “Frankenstein” Reynard, but I’m partial to PacWest’s Reynard-Lola mash up from 1995 Long Beach, where a 1994 Lola rear wing was mounted onto a 1995 Reynard. #IndyCar

The Las Vegas 500k was the last IndyCar race that the stock-block Menard V6 led. Not with Team Menard, but with John Paul Jr. in this '93 Lola.

Revisit Indycar's first visit to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and also Richie Hearn's only Indycar win!
I still believe in the Macau GP as an indicator of talent. As recently as 2023, Sophia Floersch qualified 17th out of 26 drivers, including both her teammates. She also finished 11th. Hoping she does well in Indy NXT and eventually move up to IndyCar.

When there is a gap in the 3d model of the surface (15/1200ths of an cm here), you can slip under the track. The game tries to figure out where you are, teleporting you quickly somewhere, resulting in a massive physics input which causes numbers too large or strange for the game to calculate

Over the years I spent most of my merch money on Autocourse and Hungness yearbooks and other publications. The only racing-related clothing I have is a free T-shirt from volunteering at the San Jose Grand Prix.

The race distance for the inaugural #Indy500 was determined based on an estimated distance that could be covered from 10:00am to late afternoon. Would it be too outrageous to suggest lengthening the race to 1,000 miles to align with the founders’ original concept of a 6+ hour race?
