Pedestrian struck by motorist on Parkside a block from the speed camera that vigilantes kept tearing down that caused ford to remove them from all Ontario. Drive as you wish Ontario. Nobody matters. This is what you voted for.

The math doesn't lie. Ticketing significantly decreased speeding.

When cameras triggered tickets: 31,581

When cameras recorded speed but couldn't issue tickets: 71,258
so our government made a big deal about banning speed cameras but one city left theirs running to see what difference the ban would make and you are not going to believe this

🚨 BREAKING 🚨

My office just uncovered that, buried in their Fall Economic Statement, Ford’s Conservatives are quietly seizing control of Exhibition Place.

If only I could get the new Infrastructure & Environment Committee Chair for the City to understand how vitally important it is not only to maintain the cycling infrastructure we have but to work on increasing it and prioritizing the safety of VRU’s that use it.

The argument that cyclists on Bloor Street affected by future lane removals can just take the subway sure would seem to also apply to drivers today who are griping about the bike lanes. www.torontotoday.ca/local/transp...

The firm Stantec has been named. Put them on the shelf with Diamond Schmitt & Urban Strategies as corporate citizens who’ll take the cash to destroy part of the city (and here put lives at risk).
Stantec is working with the Ford gov't to rip out bike lanes in Toronto, despite the injunction that prevents this work taking place until March & despite the tens of thousands of Ontarians who don't want to see their money wasted ripping out perfectly good infrastructure we paid to put in:
Shame on you, Stantec

Bill 223 has passed on a voice vote. I was the only person in the public galleries to witness it. Not once did the Ford government debate Schedule 4 of the Bill, which will shut down supervised consumption sites. People will die.

Ontario’s provincial government has completely lost their grip on what truly matters: The lives of the people we love and the people in our communities. The fact they are worried about being sued if their actions kill someone tells you all you need to know about the morality of this choice.
