apparently the school district won’t provide an ASL interpreter for my kid because “ASL does not interpret everything.”
no shit. ASL is its own language, separate from English, as it has its own grammatical structure

Watching 3 Body Problem on #netflix and had to read more about the Cultural Revolution. and yes, history is already repeating itself albeit somewhat differently seeing the current political climate regarding to education.

i decided to take up poetry again after a long time.
in high school, i dreamt of writing an epic similar to the odyssey but for modern times. it proved impossible for a mere child to do because we do not live in such a time anymore.
