What a day, denn: Ich habe gewählt!

Crescent-Nebula in constellation cygnus. Supernova remnant is visible as shockwaves in the middle, surrounded by hydrogen gas colored in red. A „bubble“ hides in the upper left. Photos taken from the garden/city during multiple clear nights of august. #astrophotography

On 4/10/19, NASA released the first direct image of a black hole. It was SPECTACULAR, but so is this photo of team member Katie Bouman, taken when she first saw the black hole image (she wrote the algorithm for stitching together data from radio telescope observations) 🧪🔭 girlgeek.io/katherine-l-...

Been a bit since I've shot an astrophoto. This is Thor's Helmet (NGC 2359), about 10 hours of exposures shot in narrowband hydrogen/oxygen/sulfur with stars in RGB. Processed in SHO Hubble palette. #astrophotography

NGC 4725 captured from my patio on six nights earlier this year 😊🔭

I never got around to processing the data and eventually totally forgot about it 😅

It was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with a L-Pro filter for a total integration time of about 17 hours.

Hey, I‘m Sebastian, working as an engineering manager on a platform for energy billing systems. Making the step towards #cloud with #aws and #dotnet.

I‘m a husband and dad, living in the #ruhrgebiet in Germany.

In my spare time, I learn #astrophotography, refit our house and like #kitesurfing.
