Explaining to two men over 40 that there are repercussions for what you post online, namely losing your job or other accolades was like watching a baby eat lemon.

Are there any analyses of how much misinformation / disinformation about highly-charged scientific topics — e.g., climate change, vaccines — is spread on different social media platforms?
