When I lived in Iqaluit and travelled to many of the hamlets I invested in a locally made parka, sealskin mittens and sealskin boots. I was toasty warm!

The day I took this photo it was a balmy 25 degrees Celsius in Iqaluit. One of the warmest days during my time there! Our office was so hot that we were wearing sundresses to work. Good times ...

A recent fave is a mystery/crime novel. It won the 2024 Peter Robinson Award as judged by the Canadian Crime Writers Association.
