Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.
The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

A bit of rain this past week, so Mission Creek is flowing up near Rocky Nook. Also, I recommend seeing One Battle After Another in a movie theater. :-)

It’s Creek Week around here so I spent a couple hours with the Lazy Boyz picking up trash and mulching the trail along Santa Monica Creek.
