I meant to do a lot more during April, but Life got in the way. Now Life's asking me for a jar of fly honey. Well, at least I'm done writing the common route.

Progress report, 3 months into making a new game 😊

I've been enjoying a staring contest with a planet... and it blinked!
(also, I figured out a way to export an excel table as a json file, which is of tremendous help for writing game dialogue and will speed up the process a lot)

It's almost two months since I started on my new game, and so far, I finished... about 2-3% of the script, and that's about it 🙃At least I have a more detailed idea of all that I need to do, so things should start moving a bit faster henceforth.

Planning a story's like solving a math equation... every step needs to follow from the previous one, and they should all lead to a satisfying, logical conclusion. But, if I mess up at the start, nothing will make sense later on... that's the kind of situation I'm trying to avoid.

I noticed I get too attached to the first idea I come up with when making any sort of art 😳
It's the kind of thing I have to consciously try not to do... the best way to go about it is to think of as many possibilities as I can, and choose the best one
