The proposed nuclear project plans to use water from the Peace River. I asked at the recent open house and nuclear waste will be stored on site, btw, until if/when a longterm nuclear waste storage facility is built out east.

Valleyview's library has been dealing with pretty much the same thing, but with a $60,000 cut that new library board secretary/Parliamentary expert Nathan Steinke claims is not really defunding. (His wife Samantha is on the Valleyview town council that cut the funding.)
