Left coast, left leaning, left wondering
You write of having the boulder lifted - I'm going to guess that you'll get better at happiness without that boulder squashing everything to smithereens.

It was so sad, though 😕 "I can't swim"... Said in a way where he was almost laughing at the absurdity of it...

They can rip my Alt-0151 and Alt-0149 from my cold dead keyboard! 😡

Worth doing a little internet research - some would debate about whether Neville capitulated or not, but for those who do, it's a great reference to a diplomatic fuck-up of the ninth degree.

I'm trying to imagine how this would work at my folks' retirement apartment complex... envisioning walking down to the dining room with all those tails waggling back and forth, back and forth....

I love this episode, and one of things that struck me (in terms of its story telling) was how invested I was in B's well-being in the final crazy minutes of the episode.
It's definitely my favorite droid in the whole Star Wars universe, and "Rix Road" has a lot to do with that.

I'd google it. I typed in "turkey breast in ninja crockpot" at the prompt and got quite a bit of stuff as a result

Trump NEVER reaches a pivot point, in the way we might apply it to other people. Every action, every reaction, every comment, every assertion is Trump's in-the-moment response to the lastest thing that has either irritated or flattered him. There is no core, no ground on which to pivot.

Also, why let Trump set the narrative in the headline?
as another commenter noted in this thread, we know why.

Well, it certainly genuinely frightened me when I read about it this morning. I'm also frightened to go looking for the reasoning for the decision (though I will, eventually).
They keep outdoing themselves in the "disgusting" category.

/10 One could argue that this is not a serious discussion, because there is no serious argument that it’s sedition or treason to tell the truth about the Constitution. But this is an unserious time marked by unserious and frankly evil people.

Yikes! Prior to the passage of the ACA, that was my situation - couldn't find any insurance that wasn't going to eat up three quarters of my take-home pay, and once I figured in being part of a high risk pool (gall bladder issues), premiums were more than my gross wages. Back to the bad old days!
