My hot(?) take is that while keeping up with every new thing at all times can seem like it’s fulfilling, diving into a piece of art and really soaking it in is arguably more rewarding..and we only have limited time here on earth. Use it to enrich yourself instead of just new new gimmie gimmie
All the people bemoaning quitting Spotify because they'll miss the algorithm and recommendations is just the saddest state of affairs. Music journalism is on the ropes like all journalism but it's still there. The radio is still there. Shows with opening bands are still happening. Follow some people

Prime example of why I use Tidal!! While yes, I’m still paying a streamer and contributing to that industry, the sound quality is near CD level and it pays so much more!!
