Another key aspect of stopping the new information tech (radio) from ruining democracy 100 years ago was gov’t regulation.
Amongst many other regulatory tools, we regulated radio ownership. We also created public media to serve the public interest. The BBC came from the same motivation.

You still need a really big problem/challenge for context (eg chronic pain) but keep it brief, one sentence
before defining the REAL PROBLEM, ie the specific challenge/gap you can actually fix (eg tackling heterogeneity in treatment responses with N-of1-1/ single case experimental designs)
