This portrait is of Scotia Toller, the party's hunter, who made a career out of hunting the biggest and baddest monsters she could find.

This is Princess Rose Bernese, from my kid's Pugmire game last year. My kid! We called her "the tin can" because she had an impossibly high Defense score by the end. Also had to emphasize "Princess is your father's nickname for you; not a job."

Our campaign last year had two wizards: Biff, the glass cannon pitbull... and Carmel Labrador. Carmel was played as an academic, who could barely deign to adventure, and mostly wanted to read every book he found. A great character.

Bigsy Newfoundlander was my favourite character from the campaign for my daughter and friends last year. A friendly giant, he was a Stevedor who went adventuring when his father died in kennel cough outbreak. His weapon was a naginata.

This is another character from the #pugmire campaign I ran in 2023-2024 for my daughter and her friends.

This is Biff Staffordshire, a pitbull from a military family, who had decided to become a wizard after finding a magic staff.

For the TTRPGer in your life: commissioned character art is a great gift.

Last year I got character art for the kids playing in my daughter's RPG. This is Sister Lily Pug, their Shepherd, she was played as an all around saint.

No... here's a picture of Doug Ford and an Ontario constituent using the bike lanes, in winter.

Bike lanes are public infrastructure, and available for everyone to use.

Here's von Papen.. and the guy who would be Weimar Germany's final chancellor... meeting to force Kurt von Schleicher from office.

Von Schleicher was assassinated in the night of Long Knives; Von Papen was placed under house arrest. History may not repeat, but it rhymes.

On Friday night went way west in Toronto and crossed the Humber River.

Bikelane peeps: I get the problem here.

Adding two bike lanes, and all that empty space, is not good design... for anyone.

It's a design fail: it should be improved.

I mean... funny thing about getting incensed about working with "nazis" in any coalition. This picture:

Should FDR have refused to work with Churchill for being conservative? Or Stalin for being the worlds greatest mass killer?

Your bike looks like the menacing one from Calvin and Hobbes. Waiting in a life pile to jump Calvin.

Standing argument for "No one rides bikes in Toronto in Winter."

Here's our Premier doing exactly that. I'm glad he's wearing a helmet. And I'm glad he's protected from cars.

Public infrastructure is for everyone.
