This is also true for commissions and any other paid work when you are a freelancer or someone who has to do their own taxes on sales

Typically I make about half of the sticker price of whatever I sell online after all is said and done, and about two thirds of in person sales and client work

When you go to buy from an individual creator this season please remember the price at checkout (in person or online) is not what they will see reflected in their account

Fees, immediate taxes, and future taxes cut what they would make often in half

We price for that, so please be understanding!
