Nordic countries offer a useful contrast, dignity isn’t earned through market success, it’s treated as a right. Free education, universal healthcare, housing rights, and strong worker protections reflect that. People aren’t judged by status, and trust and well-being are higher.

In the US, success is still widely seen as proof of merit, and failure as personal fault. That belief underpins weaker social protections, deeper inequality, and more insecurity. Different systems reflect different ideas about what makes someone valuable.

Darf ich mir einen Hinweis erlauben. Ich trage ungefähr 0,000000001% zum gesamten Steuervolumen von Deutschland bei. Selbst wenn ich morgen keine Steuern mehr zahle würde, würde keine einzige Schule weniger gebaut, würde keine einzige Straße weniger saniert werden.
