They gave the location away by mentioning Tim Horton's. The highest concentration in US is in my neck of the woods. And I second we don't like driving after dark.

We wanted to get our grandson a reasonably priced Bills Jersey for his last day of summer football & starting Kindergarten. We couldn't find one in his size. Walked into Dicks. Justified price for 5 yr old that it might fit for three yrs (unlikely). Go Bills. Love your family togetherness.

Always fun on a rainy day to eat in a nice cozy authentic Italian pizzeria. Walked there with John and Connor when the rain stopped. Walked back home in a downpour.

I'm sorry I don't know who originated this. It's kind of all over. But every single point is absolute truth.

Homes run about 250 thou. Land lease 550 mth. But available year round if you want to live there. Small beach. Kayaks.. we're thinking maybe next phase of retirement. But live yr round there.

Sunburn and pizza after a day at Ft. Niagara Pool on Sunday. Note to self: in the future when you reapply sunscreen to a child; try to keep them out of the water for a few minutes to let it soak in. I'm glad his mother handled it well when I returned him.

Off topic but free Indigenous People event at Artpark in Lewiston. Probably parking fee. Since you venture up this way sometimes. Unfortunately another year I can't go. Artpark also has walking trails along Niagara Gorge.

I want to turn around & go back. Not for the sun and surf. Although that was delightful. There aren't litter boxes there waiting to be cleaned. When the homeless kittens tempt me so; I just repeat to myself "1 more litter box".

Just sharing my once a year happy place. Nowhere exciting. Just a barrier island off NC. Uncrowded beach in an old fashioned (but updated and clean) Motel. R&R. Yes retired people need R&R from family even if we love them to pieces.
