Of course. Just choose a different model in VS Code.

If like me, you're a nerd that gets excited about research on economic growth, why some countries are richer than others, and the economics of innovation, take a look at Stanford Prof. Charles Jones' papers here: web.stanford.edu/~chadj/cv.html

TY to the economist for the references.

To get started:
Drop the .github/instructions folder into your Rails 8 app
Open Copilot Chat in VS Code
Prompt away. It’ll now suggest code that follows your stack and conventions
May 11, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Rails follows an 'omakase' approach: a curated stack that works well together and reduces decision fatigue. Copilot can now lean into that, leveraging convention over configuration to become a productivity beast.
May 11, 2025 at 4:25 PM
This repo provides a clean, modular setup. You’ll find instruction files for:
General Rails 8 conventions
Turbo + Stimulus
Tailwind
Solid Queue
Kamal
Importmaps
Hotwire Native

Use what you need, skip what you don’t.
May 11, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Copilot Chat now supports repo-level instructions. That means you can set shared context for your whole project with no need to remind it what tech you’re using every time.
May 11, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Rails 8 introduced a lot: Kamal for deploys, Solid Queue for background jobs, SQLite support in production, Hotwire improvements, and more. Copilot’s default suggestions don’t keep up out of the box.

E é suposto estas pessoas serem as melhores para nos liderarem?

AD+IL would likely get an absolute majority if they ran together in an election.

It was never real. PS was horrible.

Educational scores (PISA) are terrible, the health system just got ranked the worst in Europe, immigration is out of control, etc.

How come?
March 11, 2025 at 9:17 AM
Good luck! Is it a native app?

Thanks Jason. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that I think your microconf YouTube video on building the ideal bootstrapped business is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched on the internet.

I added it to my “micro saas canon”: www.santiago-martins.com/the-micro-sa... 👍

Where do you stand on offering a free tier in B2C? I’m considering removing mine.

Nice. I’d love to have a proper biohacking/health dashboard. I feel like Apple Health is the closest and it’s quite limited. Data privacy is huge in this space though, not sure how it could be a web app.

Would love to know how they compare. I stopped using cursor a while back and wonder whether the updates have made it superior again.

Brilliant, thank you!
