To explain - other than the violence, I felt like I’ve been reading from the perspective of a power-hungry anti-hero bent on revenge no matter the cost. All of that and the severe consequences in all forms were uncomfortable to read. But effective.

The mother plant barely has any variegation, but still beautiful. Just wasn’t expecting its baby to be THAT variegated.
