Northerner. Husband. Dad. Pillock.

Not a real lightbulb. Or a turnip. Not that sinister. But I do stay largely anonymous on here to keep it separate from real life. Ally to anyone who would like it. Significant irritant of @ElisabethHobbes.co.uk.
Her vocals are so strong she can pick whichever genre she fancies that day…

I’m not sure there IS a bad version of this track
November 15, 2025 at 7:21 PM
I didn’t because I thought it was too obvious and therefore one you only post at ‘one minute past eleven’ but this thread is never predictable…

She is superb.

So am I

I’ve used up my tokens but theres that whole recent album about Amelia Earhart which is terrific as well…
November 15, 2025 at 3:34 PM
I thought it was actually better than Graceland. But Graceland got the boost of being one of that crop of albums at the invention of the CD. Was in every middle class collection along with Brothers in Arms and Born in the USA…

Great track this

Such a good album
November 15, 2025 at 3:23 PM
One of my favourites too even if it is a fairly direct crib of ‘Learning to Fly’ by Tom Petty (anyone posted that yet?)

Oh - if we’re doing Foos, lets have the other end of the flight as well…

Token 1

Looks like half a credible ringmasters outfit. Needs top hat.

However as I now don’t have to drive to Wolverhampton twice, I see that as a win
November 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
Good ❤️. Hope your head isnt too sore…
November 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
Yes. Exactly that. And as I’ve got THIS far without one, theres unlikely to be upsides for me.

The trouble is with kids, you don’t know up front how much help they might need in future. Mine would have been fine without. Better off perhaps. But thats with the benefit of hindsight…

(I do not feel the same way about severe autism or indeed other neurodiverse conditions where there are treatments that can make significant differences to quality of life…. I’m not anti diagnoses in general…)
November 15, 2025 at 9:33 AM
I regret getting my kids diagnosed.
November 15, 2025 at 9:31 AM
I have never been formally diagnosed (although my kids were) because I can’t see the point. A diagnosis is only of value if theres treatment or some other upside that you’d have access to. Otherwise its just a label, and possibly a barrier.

Did you enjoy it?
