The cropping of the images and position if the fire emoji had me thinking that the head of the woman in the first image was just fire and that image was so cool to me.
Love your style tho!

It's hard to say bcos I don't get spooked by the stuff I write, but that title probably goes to The Whispered One, a malevolent fae that lives on the other side of every door. It trades secrets with people, and can lure you into an exact copy of a room that it built in the Fey to trap you.

Though I love explaining at a meta level why following the rule makes the game work better and what will happen if you omit it. Because a game should degrade gracefully and be able to accommodate alternate modes of play, but players should know the trade-offs.

Oh this is interesting! I've been thinking about the spotlight and different ways it's managed and the idea of a resource you can spend to go unnoticed is interesting in a lot of contexts

For example, a lot of systems that use sanity/madness points/rolls are strictly a punishment for investigating further. It gives the players a real sense of dread but incentivise them to never look closer & just leave. It's not what characters in the story would do. How can you get both? #ttrpg

This is really useful actually! I knew about bleed but not slug!
Amusingly, I assumed at first you were talking about *emotional* bleed so when you said "the parts of your design that go beyond the edges of the page" it struck me as very poetic.

It's interesting the philosophy different players have. I'm always of the "as long as everyone at the table is ok with it" camp, but I have a friend who only allows themself one "take-back" per game even if everyone else is ok with more.
