My hottest #dragonage take of all: Origins' creds as a "dark fantasy" game don't hold that much water.
Like everyone will cite the City Elf origin and the Broodmother scene as the big moments, but little beyond that. Not to mention the game gives you outs w/r/t certain "hard" choices.

I deeply dislike the narrative that somehow DA fans know -more- or -better- than the people who created the game, its story, lore, or canon. I’m sorry, what? 😅 I would never think so highly of myself to think I know more than the professionals who do this every day for years.
