On my daily lunchtime walk, I often spot a family of five black swans scattered along the river. Today, for the first time, I saw them gathered closely together, both near each other and unusually close to the footpath (I suspect the high tide may have drawn them nearer to the riverbank).

In the 1979 Disney film The Black Hole, V.I.N.CENT is a small, hovering utility robot aboard the U.S.S. Palomino, voiced by Roddy McDowall. His full name is "Vital Information Necessary CENTralized," and he is known for his smart, polite, and sometimes superior personality. V.I.N.CENT is an important part of the crew, possessing weapons, flight capabilities, and an ability to communicate with Dr. Kate McCrae via a form of telepathy. Drathro, known as the Immortal by a group of humans, was an L3 maintenance robot created by the sleepers to watch over them and their secrets while they rested in suspended animation. Drathro appears in the 6th Doctor story 'The Mysterious Planet'. Which is the first serial of the larger narrative known as The Trial of a Time Lord. Assassinator Droid & Walter the Robot from Mongoose Publishing for their Judge Dredd range. Demolition Robot produced by Mongoose Publishing in their now defunct Judge Dredd range.
