Finally painted my Mil Mi-45K from Dust Tactics! Picked it up at Salute in 2019 and it’s been sitting ever since. Love the chunky SSU design - armoured body, quad nose guns, and that radar dome rotor. A proper dieselpunk beast!

Just finished the latest season of The Witcher - I actually enjoyed it and thought it wasn’t nearly as bad as some reviews suggested. While sorting my lead mountain, I found Ciri & Yennefer from the now-defunct Elladan range. Perfect time to paint them.

On my daily lunchtime walk, I often spot a family of five black swans scattered along the river. Today, for the first time, I saw them gathered closely together, both near each other and unusually close to the footpath (I suspect the high tide may have drawn them nearer to the riverbank).

These 3D printed miniatures, designed by the talented Papsikels, are based on the iconic Capsule Gang from the cult anime film Akira. For many of us of a certain generation, Akira was the gateway into the world of anime. Its UK television debut on BBC2, Saturday 8th January 1994, marked a turning point. The subtitled broadcast introduced a whole new audience to Japanese animation and helped cement Akira as a cultural touchstone. What drew me to these figures—aside from the nostalgia—was their versatility. Unlike many miniatures, these characters aren’t armed, which makes them ideal for a wide range of settings. Whether you're building a neon-lit cyberpunk street scene, crafting a dystopian diorama, or adding depth to a sci-fi RPG campaign, these civilians bring style and personality without being locked into a specific role. In the 1979 Disney film The Black Hole, V.I.N.CENT is a small, hovering utility robot aboard the U.S.S. Palomino, voiced by Roddy McDowall. His full name is "Vital Information Necessary CENTralized," and he is known for his smart, polite, and sometimes superior personality. V.I.N.CENT is an important part of the crew, possessing weapons, flight capabilities, and an ability to communicate with Dr. Kate McCrae via a form of telepathy. Drathro, known as the Immortal by a group of humans, was an L3 maintenance robot created by the sleepers to watch over them and their secrets while they rested in suspended animation. Drathro appears in the 6th Doctor story 'The Mysterious Planet'. Which is the first serial of the larger narrative known as The Trial of a Time Lord. Assassinator Droid & Walter the Robot from Mongoose Publishing for their Judge Dredd range. Demolition Robot produced by Mongoose Publishing in their now defunct Judge Dredd range.
