Windows 11 has been nothing but problems for me, including crashing and completely corrupting itself. I didn't realise how many troubleshooting tools MS took away from us until now (did you know you can't boot directly into safe mode anymore?)

This one is way funnier though

That just the way things have been in the AAA space since the 360 era, although PlayStation has doubled down on it more than others.

Elden Ring, the man was running with 2 very similar shields in the same hand. All that was make his rolling slower for no benefit.

I don't think data theft and profit motive of US companies are good reasons to just hand your data directly to the CCP. At least make them work for it.

Unfortunately, social media is the primary source of news for a lot of people, especially millennials and gen z. It's why misinformation is so rampant these days and joining an app literally run by the CCP isn't going to fix that, it will probably only make it worse.

This still feels like cutting off your nose to spite your face. But I also think the amount of people actually moving from tiktok to rednote is a pretty small amount of the overall tiktok userbase, it's just the media making a bigger deal out of it than is warranted.

We aren't on twitter. We left the shit app because of exactly what you said. So why would you go to another shit app if you know it does exactly what the other shit app you left did. That makes no sense.

Uh I think you stole my cat.

Likewise when a game keeps sending me notifications to play. It just reminds me to uninstall.

We always try to keep the selections pretty diverse, so even the ones we didn't like unusually had something interesting to offer. It has been really funny how often we all end up hating some really beloved games.

I started a gaming "book club" with a few friends about a year ago for this reason. So far, there's been quite a few well regarded games that we all thought were pretty bad, but being able to discuss why we feel the way we do has been reality interesting!

Right, it's actually a game where you look for sailors.

I've seen it a lot in promos for local punk gigs which is pretty disheartening.

My parents are literally taking a cruise down to the Antarctic next March.

Just wait until they make it opt-out, most channels won't even know.

I'm pretty sure that's what all the people who wanted Black Panther to win Best Picture thought too.

But it doesn't really work out that way in reality. Valve self publish, but it wouldn't be right to call Counter strike or Dota 2 an indie game. Dave the Diver was developed by Nexon, but it's still considered an indie game by most.
