A rather nice Saturday night meal - onglet steak and garlic sautéed potatoes. Sauce Diane was applied afterwards.
We brought back plenty of wine from France recently, but I found that we still had a couple of bottles of Sam Neill's Two Paddocks pinot noir.
All bloody lovely.

A couple of dinners.
Saturday's spatchcocked chicken.(with what appears to be a winkle) roasted on the Kamado barbecue. With 3 heads of garlic that made some *awesome* garlic mayo.
And tonight's Costco ribeye, seared on the barbecue.

It's the same poundage as my flatbow, and the same aiming point.
And as it's wood, so I feel like I'm not straying too far from the simple end of bows.

My dad bought them, presumably because he found the name amusing, in the late 50s or early 60s.

Interesting how my #archery has changed in the last couple of months - I shot 475/600 today and was slightly disappointed.
My first 5 ends were 51 46 56 52 & 48 (253) but I tailed off.
The 56 was 8 8 10 10 10 10 (first pic) equal my end PB.
I shot another 56 later 10 10 10 10 X, and a 6 (second pic)

A little work trip to London yesterday. Amazingly, it's the first time I've seen the Midland Hotel, St Pancras and the British Library.
