the people who pay the single occupancy "tax" when they travel, the people who care for aging parents by themselves, the people who keep their roses and rabbits (and sleeves 👀) charged -- that's who I want advice and encouragement from.

I want to hear from the long term singles: the people who pay their rent and mortgage by themselves during inflation, the people who make themselves chicken soup when they're sick, the people who change their lightbulbs by themselves,

Y'all stay talking about dating, and while that's important, we're over here trying to figure out emergency contacts and powers of attorney. Married people are often completely unaware of our issues and reality.

(and because it's 2024, let me define "single": no situationships, no
fwbs)

Not enough people are telling these weak conversationalists NOT TO COMMENT and find something more interesting to talk about than weight, fertility and marital status. We are not the problem. They are.
